This pattern is derived from the Jungle Series print from our summer 2023 collection, which is inspired by protest poster art. These protest posters, many iconic ones created during the Apartheid era, were home-made, using simple printing methods such as lino cut, which give them a unique artistic, yet powerful aesthetic. This pattern features the Butan Black Panther as its central motif, surrounded by jungle flora and Adinkra symbols. Notice the Africa tongue detail on the panther.
