Slice Frederico’s #ButanPlaylist for the Butan Fam is stacked
Since moving to Joburg Slice Frederico (@slice_frederico) has been about the music. The KZN born dj has toured South Africa extensively with Okmalumkoolkat, dropped hot sets at Feel Good Series & Partytime Playroom events and has gone on to co-found record label Private Skool Records. The ultra-cool Durban native invited us for a coffee to share his 20 track playlist.
Slice doesn’t disappoint in putting together sounds to carry you for a chilled mood, a little hip shaking and some head nodding. The playlist opens with mama Letta Mbuli’s “Nomalizo” and kicked into a hard knock with his own second single “L’s In The South” which features Lucid Prinxe and Theo Roosevelt.
